Lunar Theme Park Day three

What a morning! Not only did we finalise our spending on the theme park, we calculated the running costs. Once that was complete, each team presented a fabulous persuasive speech to justify why their park was unique. As a result, an admission price was set ready for the teams to calculate the gate revenues.

The teams have worked with great focus and shared the roles. It was such a pleasure to see you shine today. Well done.

Open Day 2017

It was wonderful to see so many of you here today. I know many of the children were ever so keen to share their learning with you. The Hindu patterns on the playground brought an end to our Hindu unit of study. We had tried to go out a few weeks ago but the weather was not as glorious as it was today. The children are using the new laptops quite frequently in class and it was fabulous to have them out today. They do enjoy Scratch. I must say a huge well done to the performers in the assembly since they created their own mini moments to share on stage. The ideas belonged to them. We have been on an incredible journey this year and we are enjoying every moment of it. Well done Year 6.

Kingswood Residential

Well done Year 6! You have been fabulous and so many team leaders shared back their delight at how wonderful you were. The team spirit was encouraging to all. The pictures share more than I can write on here. I was unable to add to the blog while we were away, but here is just a snapshot of our time in Kingswood. Remember that our Year 6 registers are open until 10am. A huge thank you to you all.

Hindu Dance Performance

Thank you very much for coming to our Hindu performance today. It was fantastic to see so many people in the audience. The songs are still in our minds from this morning. Here are just a few moments which we captured today.

Well done Year 6! It has been a pleasure to support you in creating your routines and to watch you perfect them during the term.
